The JMTA has organised a lot of activities since its inception. Here are a few:

THE COAL INDIA ITF MEN'S FUTURES-2008
The Coal India ITF Men's Futures Tennis Championship was held at the Jaidip Mukerjea Tennis Academy from 18th to 23rd February 2008.

The tournament was inaugurated by the Honourable Minister for Urban Development of West Bengal, Mr. Ashok Bhattacharya on 18th February'08 in the presence of many a personalities from various walks of life.

The six day championship saw some scintillating Tennis, with participation of players from Germany, Bulgaria, Taipei, China, Korea, Spain, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Italy. Players from India like Davis Cupper Karan Rastogi, Ashutosh Singh, Vivek Shokeen, Vijay Kannan, Vishnu Vardhan were also some of the star attraction of the tournament which provided them a huge opportunity to test their skills against their foreign counterparts.

The singles crown was won by the top seed Alexander Satscko of Germany who outplayed the giant killer Hyun-Woo Nam of Korea 6-0,6-0 in the finals to take home a cheque of $1950.

The doubles title was won by Vijay Kannan of India and Alex Kedruyk of Kazakisthan.

The prizes were distributed by the former Chief Minister of West Bengal Sri. Sidharth Sankar Ray..
 

Mahesh Bhupati Tennis Clinic: JMTA
The one day tennis clinic was held in JMTA in June 2003. Mahesh Bhupati, conducted this clinic which was attended by all top junior players in Kolkata and of course the trainees of JMTA.

US $10,000 ONGC ITF FUTURES Men's Tennis Tournament 2004, Saturday Club
This major ATP points tennis tournament was held at the Saturday Club, Kolkata in March 2004, with great success. Jaidip Mukerjea was the tournament director and he and his team managed and organised the tournament.

Chris Kachel Tennis Camp, JMTA
A week long tennis camp was held at JMTA under the aegis of AITA. Mr. Chris Kachel, who was the chief tennis coach of the Australian Institute of Sports, conducted the camp, held in May 2000. All the top players from India & trainees of JMTA attended the camp. They included Mustafa Ghouse, Vinod Shridhar, Vishal Uppal, Sourav Panja, Vishal Punna, and others.

Intra Academy Tournaments
The JMTA holds 2 intra academy tournaments a year. The tournament is meant for the academy trainees, and provides them with valuable experience of match play.

Tennis Carnivals: JMTA
This is a fun event organized once a year. The members of JMTA along with their guests participate in a day long carnival. The carnival includes a game of doubles, great food and lots of laughter.
